Training Sessions
Training Academy
Our bread and butter, what we consider to be total player development. All details that are important both in and out of possession of the ball: accuracy of passing+receiving, movement off the ball, speed of play, and Game IQ.
Striking + Finishing
Ball striking techniques, proper body positioning and mechanics, shot placement on goal, and finishing inside the final third of the playing field.
Freestyle
Total comfortability on the ball, functional footwork and foot skills finishing in 1v1s and 2v2s to gain confidence taking on players.
Foundational
Entry program introducing our younger players to coordination, agility, and technical skills with the ball at their feet.
Goalkeeping
“Diving” into the technical work of keeper mechanics. Distribution, 1v1 situational awareness, diving, and footwork.
Goal keeper trainer is the best I’ve seen so far. I live in 161 and i20 so it is a bit of a drive for us but it’s totally worth it.
We’ve sent our oldest daughter to Salient for 6 months and her growth has been phenomenal. The coaches are amazing; their energy and positivity breeds a fun and competitive environment. To complete the experience, their customer service and professionalism is also worthy of 5*. Our biggest compliment is that we plan to send our youngest as soon as she old enough.
We’ve had a great experience at Salient. My son has taken the foundational classes for a few months plus the summer camp and his footwork has improved so much. His req coaches noticed the improvement at the first practice of this new season and my son felt so proud. Before the season started, he told me that he wanted to see if his coaches will notice that he trained during the off season. And they did notice right away, thanks to Salient. All of the coaches are great. They work well with the kiddos. I think they are great role models and mentors for the kiddos. We’re taking a short break due to a hectic schedule but we’ll be back to Salient in January.
My kid enjoys the classes and the coaches are knowledgeable and work well with the kids. Great supplement to regular team training.

Salient Touch provides excellent soccer training. The coaches are very skilled, focused, and teach kids how to push themselves to be better players! By far one of the best soccer trainings we have seen!
My daughter, Reese and I have really enjoyed our experience with Salient. The trainers are engaging, challenging and have excellent knowledge of the game. We have done group skill sessions and position specific 1:1 sessions. Reese is in her first summer where colleges can contact her for recruiting and training with Salient has prepared her very well. She has received positive feedback at all camps she has attended and even specifically highlighted for strengths in areas where we have focused because we were previously told these areas were weaknesses. I wish we had started with Salient when she was in academy.
Great skills development program. Coaches are excellent. Easy to see they really know their stuff. They are kind but also hold the players to a standard and want to see them perform and grow. Communication from directors very good. They pay attention to each player’s development and move them along at the correct pace. We are enjoying the process.
Coach Tony and the staff provide a fantastic training environment where they challenge my two girls and son to develop technically, mentally, and physically. Dominique and her team provide fantastic support in helping us sign up for training and answering any questions. It’s a great team that I would highly recommend.

Coach Tony and all the other coaches at Salient Touch are AMAZING! The level of intenseness these kids train at is like no other. Coach Tony makes sure he explains the drills in a way anyone could understand but also makes it fun. I 1000% recommend this training academy if you want to see real results in a short amount of time or if your kid is stuck in a rut and need to get to that next level of play.

The training at Salient Touch has been outstanding! The coaches are highly knowledgeable and create the perfect atmosphere for learning. Coach Tony is awesome! He actually corrects kids when they are doing something wrong. He encourages the kids! Most training facilities and their coaches seem to go through the motions. They never care enough to stop bad form the second they see it. I’ve definitely noticed my son improve since he’s started at Salient Touch! I highly recommend them.

The coach's at Salient have a great attitude towards the players. They hold the kids accountable and create an atmosphere for the kids to grow and progress in.They engrave a sense of ownership into the kids and I believe it makes them want to work harder. Salient also provides special sessions that will cater to your player's wants and needs. Top notch place with top notch coaching!
